Short stories from Ethiopia
In March 2003 Young Lives held a short story competition for children in Ethiopia. The theme of the competition was ‘Growing up in Poverty’. Six winners were selected and invited to Addis Ababa to receive their prizes. The prize-giving ceremony was featured on the national news and the stories presented on Ethiopian Children’s Radio.
