Anne’s role includes working with the Young Lives research partners to coordinate the complete survey cycle. This includes coordinating the process of survey design, piloting, data collection, and data management. She designs and builds the Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) programs for data collection in the field and prepares the data for archiving. Additionally, she manages the integration of all datasets across rounds and surveys.
Anne has over 13 years working with and managing both quantitative and qualitative data in international development. In her previous role Anne was the Data Manager for the Well-being in Developing Countries Research Group at the University of Bath. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and a Master’s in Information Management from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland. She has been the Survey and Data Manager for Young Lives since 2007.
