Da Nang City, Vietnam

Da Nang City is one of five big cities in Vietnam, located in central coast region. As the most urban of all the research areas, it also has the highest levels of development. As well as a high GDP, it has a high level of education. The region has received significant funds from government and foreign countries to invest in further development. However, these opportunities do not benefit everyone as over 10% of the population continue to live in poverty. Furthermore, urban migration, social problems and environmental pollution are increasing rapidly.
