The Young Lives team have been invited to participate in the International Conference on Child Cohort Studies which is being hosted by the Centre for Longitudinal Studies at Oxford during September 12-14 2006.

The Young Lives team were invited to participate in the International Conference on Child Cohort Studies which was hosted by the Centre for Longitudinal Studies at Oxford, September 12-14 2006.
The conference’s objective was to promote communication and comparison between researchers designing, conducting and analysing large-scale, multi-country birth cohort studies which were started around the turn of the new millennium.
 
The Young Lives Director, Jo Boyden participated as an invited panel discussant addressing the question "What is the point of international comparisons?"

The YL project also presented the study profile poster entitled "Childhood Poverty in Andhra Pradesh: An Analysis Based on Young Lives Study." The poster was produced by By S. Galab, P. Prudhvikar Reddy, and C. Ravi, Centre for Economic & Social Studies (CESS), Hyderabad. It was  presented in Oxford by the India team PI, Dr S Galab. Click here to download the poster (pdf 10 KB)
