Lives in Brief (Vidas en Breve) [archived item. 2004]
Photo exhibition comes to London!
Young Lives was delighted to present a thought-provoking black-and-white photo exhibition depicting the lives of four Peruvian children, together with the children's testimonies about their lives and dreams. The exhibition has already been well received in Peru, USA and England.
The exhibition of photographs represents the dreams, ideas, perceptions and sentiments of 8 Peruvian children: 4 girls and 4 boys. It includes various testimonies, ad photographs by Alejandro Balaguer, Cecilia Larrabure, Susana Pastor and Jaime Rázuri taken in the towns of Camaná, Huaycán, Cajamarca y Pangoa, respectively.
The exhibition is available to groups/organisations. It would make
an ideal focal point for discussing issues around child poverty
in Peru with young people. The children's testimonies come in both
English and Spanish.
For those who could not come and visit the exhibition in person, fear not! You can view the exhibition in its entirety, together with other Young Lives Peru exhibitions and children's testimonies by visiting www.ninosdelmilenio.org
