New Vietnam Research Partner. [January 2006]

As of January 2006, Young Lives has a new Vietnamese partner research institute, the well-respected Centre for Analysis and Forecast, which is part of the Vietnamese Academy of Social Sciences (CAF/VASS), Ha Noi.

We are delighted to welcome Dr Doan Hong Quang and Dr Le Thuc Duc in a shared role as Principle Investigators (PI) of the Vietnam Young Lives team. We warmly welcome them both, and their team to Young Lives project, and look forward to a very fruitful collaboration.

The Government Statistics Office (GSO), led by Mr Phong will continue to conduct the quantitative survey work and data analysis, in close co-operation with CAF/VASS.

The Young Lives project team wish to show their many thanks to our Phase 1 Vietnam Principle Investigator Dr Tran Tuan and his all hard working team at the Research & Training Centre for Community Development (RTCCD). Dr Tuan has left the Young Lives project now to concentrate on his other research lines.
