Qualitative Research Opportunities with Young Lives in Peru and India [archived item]

Searching for Qualitative Country-Based Researchers


Late 2006/ early 2007 the Young Lives Research Centre was seeking to recruit Country-based Qualitative Researchers and research assistants for the qualitative child-focussed component in Ethiopia, Peru, Vietnam and India The Researchers began work as early as January 2007 and will work full-time through the end of June 2009. Two rounds of qualitative data-gathering will take place during this period, combining individual and group based qualitative methods. The Researchers have responsibility for implementing detailed plans for qualitative research in their study country, including supervising and assisting research assistants in the fieldwork.  They are native to their the study countries and are required to travel and stay for short periods of time in the YL research sites within their countries.
