Young Lives aims to raise the awareness of childhood poverty as an issue in its own right amongst policy makers and the general public. With this aim in mind, the Young Lives team in Ethiopia arranged for the weekly TV chat show, MEET, to host a discussion on childhood poverty. Taking part were Tassew Woldehana, a economist on the Young Lives research team, John Graham, the head of Save the Children-UK in Ethiopia and Professor Tirusew Tefera, from the psychology department at the University of Addis Ababa.
