As trade conditions in developing countries came under discussion at the WTO meetings, a timely new policy brief from the Young Lives project examined the impacts of trade liberalisation on poor children, with a focus on Ethiopia and Peru, and what can be done to mitigate its negative impacts while building on its beneficial aspects.
