Project Officer in Health Research and Communications
Young Lives post at the Department of International Development, University of Oxford
In September 2007 we welcomed Inka Barnett to the new post of Project Officer in Health Research and Communications.
As project officer she is responsible for supporting research into health and other issues affecting children and adolescents and carrying out a range of publications and communications-related tasks.
Inka holds an MSc in Public Health Nutrition from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (her MSc thesis was on “Research proposal to assess the applicability of Lot Quality Assurance Sampling in sentinel site nutritional surveillance in rural Ethiopia" - looking at the Young Lives survey sample). Her previous research assistant roles have included studies in South Africa, Benin, Germany and Kenya.
The post is full time for one year, with the Oxford University of Oxford.
