Research Officer appointed in Quantitative Research on Child Poverty - Oxford

In November 2007 Dr Rozana Himaz joined the Young Lives team, based in Oxford team office.

In her role as Quantitative Research Officer she works closely with Professor Stefan Dercon especially, on the quantitative side of the programme, and the quantitative research teams in each of our study countries (Ethiopia, India, Peru and Vietnam), all under the general supervision of Dr Jo Boyden, Director of Young Lives. However, she also works very closely with the qualitative and policy staff of the project for our joint planning of activities, analyses and research/policy outputs.

In collaboration with the research teams in the UK and in each of the study countries, the Rozana assists in developing high-quality research using the Young Lives longitudinal data on issues relevant to childhood poverty and policy. She also provides analytical and quantitative support to the other members of the research teams, locally in each country as well as in Oxford. This is a full-time University of Oxford post.
