Early Childhood Development Symposium

The Centre for Early Childhood Development and Research, Jamia Millia Islamia in collaboration with Young Lives, India cordially invites you to a Symposium on Early Childhood Development.
Chief Guest Professor Parvin Sinclair, Director, NCERT, New Delhi and the Guest of Honour, Dr Shreeranjan, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Womena and Child Development, will grace the occasion. The symposium will be held in Tagore Hall, Administrative Block, Jamia Millia Islamia, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi 110025.
Professor Martin Woodhead (Associate Research Director, Young Lives, University of Oxford and Professor of Childhood Stuides, The Open University, UK) will present Global Perspective on Early Childhood Development: Are we realising the potential for all children?
Professor Uma Vennam (Lead Qualitative Researcher, Young Lives India, and Professor of Social Work, Sri Padmavathi Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati) will follow with a Presentation on the Key Findings from the Working Paper - Increasing Choice or Inequality: Pathways through Early Education in Andhra Pradesh, India, Bernard van Leer Foundation.
