Inka Barnett
Brief biography
Dr Inka Barnett is a research fellow at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS). Inka is a nutritionist (LSHTM) and epidemiologist (University of Cambridge) with over 10 years of experience in global health and nutrition research projects in Asia and Africa. Her key research interests have been child nutrition, the use of ICTs for nutrition service delivery and behaviour change interventions.
She is currently leading several impact evaluations on the use of mobile phone technology for nutrition service delivery for DFID and USAID, is the Principal Investigator of a research study on IYCF in urban Bangladesh and convenes the Impact Evaluation module for the IDS MA programme.
