Kristine Briones
Brief biography
Kristine joined the Young Lives team in early 2016 as a Research Analyst. She currently provides support on research relating to non-cognitive skills, gender, and education and is part of the Young Lives data visualisation team, specifically producing those on education, gender, and the Young Lives wealth index. She was also involved in the development and implementation of the Round 5 (2016) survey.
Previously, Kristine worked as a Research Analyst at the Asian Development Bank in Manila, Philippines. She was also a lecturer at the Tarlac State University in Tarlac City, Philippines. She completed her Master’s degree in Impact Evaluation for International Development from the University of East Anglia where, as part of her dissertation, she investigated the impact of Ethiopia’s Productive Safety Net Programme on child labour and schooling. She also has a BSc in Statistics and MA in Economics from the University of the Philippines.
Her research interests include behavioural development economics, gender, impact evaluation, and data visualisation.
