Brief biography

María José is an ODI Fellow in the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR).

From 2011 to 2015 she worked with Young Lives as a research assistant and survey coordinator of the fourth round of the quantitative surveys in Ethiopia, and in the development of the fifth round. She continues to work with Young Lives on research related to psychosocial well-being and violence affecting children.

She holds a MSc in Statistics from the London School of Economics and a BA in Economics from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City.
