Brief biography
Rhiannon was an Education Researcher with Young Lives between 2015-2020. She led on the design and implementation of the school effectiveness survey in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, India, in 2016-17, working closely with the Young Lives India team and other members of the Education team.
Rhiannon is now a PhD student at University of Bristol and continues to make use of Young Lives data in her doctoral research. Her mixed methods study explores teachers' working lives and motivations in India. Rhiannon's other research interests include school and teacher effectiveness in lower and middle income countries (LMICs), and measurement of learning outcomes. She is also an Associate Lecturer with The Open University. Rhiannon holds an undergraduate degree from London School of Economics, an MSc from SOAS, and an MRes from University of Bristol.
