Young Lives countries and research areas
Young Lives is taking place in four countries, Ethiopia, India, Peru and Vietnam. Part of the rationale for selecting the countries was the opportunity to study childhood poverty in four different development contexts. In each country, the Young Lives team chose a series of contrasting regions. Within the regions, a total of 20 sentinel sites were selected, and then, 100 children between the ages of 6 and 18 months were identified in each sentinel site.
