We’re delighted to see Young Lives highlighted by the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office’s (FCDO) Global Research and Technology Development (GRTD) team as an example of what sustained investment in longitudinal research can achieve - contributing to policy impact both internationally and in our study countries, including: action on child marriage in Peru and India; the expansion of pre-primary education and strengthening of social protection in Ethiopia ad Peru; and shifting the global debate on tackling undernutrition.
And our journey continues. Our vision to 2030 includes extending our longitudinal research from ‘Birth-to-Thirty’, alongside new initiatives including the Research Hub on Climate Change and Environmental Shocks and Young Lives’ SDG Life-Course Data Lab (to be launched in the coming months).
