Anna currently works at the International Labour Organization, specialising on themes of youth employment, green jobs, care work and racial discrimination. She also holds a Bye Fellowship at Murray Edwards College at University of Cambridge where she has taught and researched for many years. Anna’s recent research has focused on youth underemployment, living wages, work in the circular economy, climate change and youth livelihoods, and government austerity policies. Anna’s PhD from the University of Sheffield focused on socio-economic inequalities, inspired by her work on the Worldmapper project which uses cartograms to depict international inequalities.
