
Fiona Curtin joined Young Lives as a Policy Officer in January 2025. Her role is to deliver impactful policy engagement across the Young Lives programme, including laying the foundations for the new Young Lives Research Hub on Climate Change and Environmental Shocks.
Fiona worked most recently as a freelance writer and policy advisor for a wide range of international organisations and campaigns, with a strong focus on climate change, the environment and human rights. Prior to that she worked for the NGO Green Cross International and the UNHCR in Geneva. Fiona studied PPE at the University of Oxford and has a Masters in International History and Politics from the University of Geneva.
